One of the mitzvot of Purim is mishloach manot, the mitzvah of sending a
bag or basket of food to family and friends. This year especially, we know how
important it is for all of us to feel this love and connection to one another so we
invite you to be part of our communal sending of mishloach manot, and to help
us make this a successful fundraiser for Tifereth Israel as well! We would like to
thank Arnie Good and Lisa Newmark for supporting this project so generously
and making sure it will be a success!

To see how this works, click here! For questions, you can email
Rebecca Haimowitz-King or at 614-928-3287. Every member family
has an individual log-in code: if you need your code, please contact Rebecca.
The deadline to send mishloach manot is Sunday, February 14.

Of course another mitzvah of Purim is reading the Book of Esther which we’ll
do on Zoom on Thursday evening, February 25. As we do so, we would like to
share pictures of our members acting out parts of the story. We have divided
the book into 5 scenes which are listed here. We hope you’ll sign up for one
& join us for services to see your picture!

To make it easier to participate in online services, the Rabbinical Assembly has made
their Shabbat and Festival siddur available online as a free download in this et tzarah (time of trouble).
In addition, Cantor Chomsky has made PDFs of the transliterated weekday siddurim available using the following links:
